Join us for a Spiky Paper Bauble Workshop in Vellum Mill Gallery!

Spiky baubles are called ‘hedgehogs’ (jeżyki) and they used to be made during autumn and winter nights with friends and family in Poland. To make sure the tradition is passed down in generations, they were also taught at school during communist times.

After communism collapsed, they were forgotten for a while, but now are becoming very popular due to their unique design.

During the workshop Monia will introduce you to a rich history of Polish decorations and traditions.

Come with your friend, learn a new skill and relax whilst creating your paper masterpiece.
